- Burning characters are often unused: Many players, like you, create burning characters simply because there’s nothing else to do or for the temporary leveling boost, but then they don't continue playing them. This results in rewards that sit unused in their inventories indefinitely.
- Making rewards tradeable helps players maximize their resources: By allowing rewards (like titles or other items) from burning characters to be tradeable within the account, it ensures that the effort put into leveling the burning character doesn't go to waste. Players could use these rewards on characters they actually play and enjoy, making the overall game experience more satisfying without disrupting the balance of the game.
- It still requires effort: The rewards wouldn't be given out easily—players would still need to level the burning character to 260 to earn them. Whether the rewards end up on the burning character or a main character, the same level of effort is required, so it doesn’t create an unfair advantage. It's more about allowing flexibility for how players manage their rewards.
- Account-bound rewards keep it fair: If the rewards are only tradeable within the same account, it doesn't harm the economy or give an unfair advantage in trading. It just helps individual players maximize the potential of the rewards they've earned, giving them more freedom and enjoyment in the game.
How to fix multiple people claiming same rewards: Make Rewards Only Transferable Once Per Account:
- Explanation: Limit rewards to only be claimable or transferable once per event per account, regardless of how many burning characters are made. Once the rewards are transferred to another character, they can’t be claimed again in the same event period.
- Effectiveness: Even if someone deletes their burning character, they can't claim or transfer the same rewards again during the event.
